A Tie in the playoffs?

The Lone Rangers tied in overall points in the Playoff bout against Robbie Gould isssss Gold. The second game saw the Lone Rangers score a measly 55 points. This lead to a 151 to 151 tie between the two head to head teams!

Aaron Rodgers the usual champ for The Lone Rangers coughed and sputtered up five points. Aaron Rodgers turned around and was mowed over by the Buffalo Bills? Yeah the Buffalo Bills pulled it out of their shorts and stomped Aaron Rodgers, thus stomping the Lone Rangers in the process. Thanks Bills.

The two Highest scorers were Roddy White and Stephen Gotkowski with 11 points each. These 11 points each collected together with other awful scores turned the Lone Rangers into losers. The Lone Losers.

For the upcoming game The Lone Rangers will trade off Rueben Randle for their fan favorite, Markus WHEATON! WHEATON! has been a fan favorite of the Lone Rangers since he started the fans are cheering and welcoming his return back in the game!

The Lone Rangers will also make a wise decision to get rid of The Jets Defense and put back in the Rams defense. Trading out the Rams defense was a bad move meant to make a quick buck, but quick bucks always backfire and the coach of Lone Rangers should know better.

The Lone Rangers are set to go against Team Larsen for the next two weeks. This will be their final game of the season. The next two weeks will determine how big of winners the Lone Rangers really are. The experts say that The Lone Rangers are pitted to lose against Team Larsen. But as always time is the greatest tell all.

Holy COW!

There are times when things go as we would expect them. Then there are times that the clouds part and a miracle comes down to earth! The Lone Rangers pulled off a victory against the Robbie Gould isssss Gold. The final score was 96 to 74.

Aaron Rodgers was the top scorer for The Lone Rangers with a smashing 27 points. They were up against Atlanta and Aaron helped bring Green Bay to victory, and also brought us to victory. Thank you Aaron!

The second top scorer was the Rams Defense. Up against the Washington Redskins they scored 24 points! They smashed the Redskins like they were not even playing. The Rams defense proves themselves week after week! They are going all the way this year, and The Lone Rangers will gladly let them.

This complete game isn't over until after this next week. The Lone Rangers will face off against  Robbie Gould isssss Gold one more time. The combined points of both games will declare the winner.

The Lone Rangers will trade the Rams defense for the Jets defense. The Rams have been great as of late, but the Jets may score more points against those Titans then Rams will score against the Cardinals. Time will tell, but The Jets defense is in, and the Rams are out.

Markus WHEATON will be traded with Reuben Randle. Reuben Randle looks to be the better player, although WHEATON is a favorite of the Lone Rangers. But that is because of the WHEATON name. Randle should be a better Wide Receiver, and he better not let the Lone Rangers down.

The preview looks like the Lone Rangers will score only 65 points and Robbie Gould isssss Gold is said to score 91 points. If this is the case the Lone Rangers will lose big time. There is nothing to fear though as the Lone Rangers always give their best, and there is not much more to hope for in any team or any person.

Just like that.

The Lone Rangers go out with a bang with a win over Karl's Broncos. This was a close game 76 to 72. The Lone Rangers barely pulled ahead and took the victory with a couple of good throws and some strong defense.

Aaron Rodgers scored a 24 points for the Lone Rangers. Aaron was on fire and led his team to victory.

The Rams defense squashed Oakland and made for a huge 29 points. The Rams proved their usefulness to the Lone Rangers after weeks of playing soft.

Everyone else on the Lone Rangers did okay, but not that great. The Lone Rangers squeaked by for a win and now the Playoffs start. There will be four weeks of playoffs but the Lone Rangers will play in the Consolation Ladder.

The Consolation Ladder is the division just under the Winner's Bracket. They are not in the top bracket for winners, but they still may come in in the lesser bracket, but a victory here still means something.

Markus WHEATON will replace Reuben Randle in the upcoming Playoff game. Reuben was the old Wide receiver and he served the Lone Rangers okay, but WHEATON seems to be the better man in the upcoming game. The Lone Rangers made the tough call and WHEATON is now in.

The Lone Rangers are going up against the tough Robbie Gould isssss Gold. The preview does not look good. Try as they might it appears the Lone Rangers will lose this one. The score is predicted to be 81 to 108. A lot of things can happen on the field, but it is still a long shot if the Lone Rangers can pull off this victory.

Cause He's a Loser.

The Lone Rangers could not keep up their winning streak try as they might they just could not stand against the awesome Laces Out. The Lone Rangers lost 56 to 78, this keeps them at the bottom of their division, there is no hope of coming back at this point.

The top scorer was Aaron Rodgers with a smashing 19 points, but try as he might, even he couldn't keep it together for the Lone Rangers, Laces out proved to be too much even for his top achievement.

The second highest top scorer was the defense from the Rams. Their score was a tough 12 points. The defense could not hold back the offensive Laces out, Laces out just was too much their Denver Wide Receiver Demaryius Thomas smashed over the rams with 26 points.

With only one game left for the Season it looks like its lights out for The Lone Rangers. Even if they win the next game they are still too far behind to catch up. The groundhogs are bringing their mail, its the deep six, they are outta here bub.

The Lone Rangers will take on Karl's Broncos, which are on a hot streak as of late. The preview of the score looks like it may be a tie game. Many things can change if any of our key players get injured the other team could go down without much struggle.

The biggest problem for the Lone Rangers is that they have no running game at all. When a team tries to capitalize with a great quarterback but only has average receivers and okay defense it comes down to the running game. With running backs that don't have enough experience it is only by a miracle that the Lone Rangers can win any games.

With that we can still cheer them on, invite people over, eat our pizza together and drink our Sodas. The game is still a fun game even when you can't win all the time.

Win Again?

The Lone Rangers did it again. They had an impressive victory showing they are not out. The final score was 92 to 82. The Lone Rangers played a hard fought game against The Old Man, but came out ahead.

The biggest scorer for the Lone Rangers was Aaron Rodgers, with an impressive 28 points. Well done Aaron you are playing like you are wanting to win. The Packs pay you enough money and you should play your heart out, otherwise get out of the business!

The next highest scorer was Michael Floyd with 17 points. Good job Michael you did a good thing for Arizona and for The Lone Rangers.

Roddy White also from Arizona did the next highest points with 13. Arizona played pretty well and we thank you very much. It helped us destroy The Old Man!

Heath Miller has a BYE week, and we don't want a big zero for this game, so we will take Owen Williams as the other Tight End for the next game.

The Steelers Defense also have a BYE week. The Lone Rangers will put the Rams Defense in their place. Rams look like they will do a great job, and they BETTER do a good job, or they will be FIRED off the team.

Zac Stacy will be traded with Bernard Pierce. The role of the Running Back has always been hard for the Lone Rangers to find a good fit. We do okay, but ultimately it is a weakness in our team. Bernard will be better than Zac, but not a whole lot.

Stephen Gotkowski was voted the number one kicker for this year, well he looks to not be so hot. The Lone Rangers are glad that they also have Phil Dawson from the 49ers! Phil Dawson will take the Kicker's place for The Lone Rangers. We will put our trust in Phil!

Each week there is a preview for how well they think each team will do. The Lone Rangers look like they will win their next game against Laces Out. This will be a tough game, Laces out has won most of their games, and they best us before.

Winning is great and fun, but the better thing is playing the game to the best of our ability while learning new skills, and growing in our relationships with those we play with.

Winning

Winning is a strange thing. It can bring feelings of wonder, amazement, or pride. Pride though is a terrible thing that can bring down anybody, the best of people. I do not want to be full of pride but winning another game feels great!

The final score was 83 - 65. My points were higher than the other team and so my team has won this game. There are many other games to go but this win puts us closer to winning the big one. What is the big one? If our team or any team wins enough games we will face off the best from the other division. There are two divisions in our league, with six teams in each, do the math that is twelve teams total.

Looking at the score it was easy to see why we won. The other team didn't adjust their players. Each week players get a bye week, this means that they don't play. They get time off, like paid vacation, sort of. The other team used players that didn't actually play or do anything in the NFL. If a player doesn't play at all in the NFL, that means the fantasy league player does nothing as well. The Lone Rangers won because quite simply the other team didn't pay attention. The win doesn't feel as great anymore.

Bernard Pierce needs to be traded with Zac Stacy, not because Stacy is great, but because Pierce has a BYE week. The Lone Rangers needs somebody and Stacy is the man to do it.

Steve Gotkowski is a kicker, who is scheduled to do better than Phil Dawson, the other kicker. Therfore Phil is out, and Steve is back in! Steve we hope you do well, and we are sure you will. There are no other good trades to make.

The Lone Rangers are scheduled to win the next game, but we all know winning can change in a matter of week. Depending how the real players do, will depend on how well the Lone Rangers do. As it turns out winning isn't everything, the work to get there, and what doors winning can open is what truly matters.

Its no surprise.

Lost big time once again, is anybody surprised? No? Good me either. What was the score you ask? 67 to 35, so apparently we both had a bad day. The really bad day fell on the Lone Rangers. 35 points is a real thing, 35 points! How can anybody be that bad?!

The top scorer for the Lone Rangers was WHEATON!

With 12 points! My pep talk last week must have done some good! He must have read this and did a better job! That's how it works right? I make this blog and the pros read it for all their inspiration and the direction they need to go with each game!

The second highest top scorer was Colin Kaepernick with 10 points. My gosh what a bunch of nonsense now given these are most of my second string players but wow they sucked. Even players that should do well sucked up the place. Phil Dawson a fellow 49ers player did 3 points! You sir are a disgrace to 49ers players and to the fans!

Aaron Rodgers is going back in for obvious reasons, goodbye Kaepernick! Rodgers welcome back you will do well, you always have!

Zac Stacy you are being replaced by Bernard Pierce for a Running Back. My gosh every running back on our team sucks.

WHEATON! you are going out and being replaced with Roddy White. Sure WHEATON! you served me well in the past but Roddy White is projected to win more points. It is nothing personal its just about winning the Gold and at this rate who knows if we will win that at all.

The Jets Defense is being replaced by the Steelers Defense. Anybody else confused? Good that is the way it should be. Never liked the jets but GO JETS!

Thus far the Lone Rangers are projected to win 83 to 74! WOO HOO! We are going to win, win, WIN! You will see we are coming back back to the top GO FOR THE GOLD! Winning is everything, right?

Whoop Whoop!

I won another game! YAY that makes 2! We are coming back ladies and gentlemen! I won by a shredding 62 to 61. I will take it. Finally all of my hard work has paid off. Okay well I haven't done that much hard work with this, or studying maybe that's why I am not winning many games? Perhaps if I worked harder at my league I would win? I guess I don't put enough time in football to do better in the fantasy league. I am okay with that though.

My number one scorer was Aaron Rodgers at 24 points! Go Aaron Rodgers you are the champion. He loves Pro Wrestling so he can lead my fantasy team anytime he wants. My next high scorer was Stephen Gostkowski at 15 points. Then...guess who else did really well? That's right WHEATON! did well at 11 points!

Everyone else was meh. They helped me win, I guess so I shouldn't mock small beginnings but I don't know if these guys will do any better. Some guys did zero though. You read that correct ZERO!

For the next game I am switching out Aaron Rodgers for Colin Kaepernick from the 49ers! I didn't want to do this but Rodgers has a bye week so bye bye Rodgers!

I will switch Carlos Hyde with Bernard Pierce. Bernard you are doing terrible lately so Carlos please do better!  Then I switched out Roddy White for Reuben Randle, because Roddy is on a bye week. So bye bye Roddy!

Heath Miller come on down! You are the next one to switch out with Owen Daniels, come on down and play the game! Play your heart out, its what you are paid to do. You worked your whole life to get to the big time, well this is it, this is the big time.

Stephen Gotkowski I am switching you out for Phil Dawson, simply because PHIL is said to be better than you in the upcoming week. I sure hope so sometimes PHIL you let me down, but I will give you another shot, I believe in second chances, and 23rd chances.

I am scheduled to lose my next game 114 to 63 OUCH! We shall see time will tell maybe all of their players will get injured and all of my players will magically do really well!

Alright that is your news to know for this week in the man that knows nothing about Fantasy football! I think I am doing okay, and this isn't over yet, I still have a shot to win it all! Also more importantly I feel a better connection to my wife's family that doesn't live so close to us.

Lose. Lose. Lose.

What else is new? Nothing. I lost again. Shouldn't be that big of a surprise by now, honestly. I think the big surprise though is that the last two times I was scheduled to WIN! but I lost anyways. Is there some force against me? The thought of the verse about pride coming before a downfall comes to my mind, could I have been to prideful in my desire to win? Why did I join this then if I do not want to win? Could there be more than winning? I think so.

Let's get down to the nitty gritty. I lost AGAIN 98 to 81, so that's not really too bad. I had one man who scored ZERO points! I guess that's better than -2, right Rams Defense? The highest scorer was 24 points made by Aaron Rodgers thank you for being a winner, and Aaron Rodgers did better than the QB he was up against, which was Kirk Cousins.

Where did it all go wrong? My next higher scorer was Roddy White at 16 points. The next higher scorer was 10 points which was Michael Floyd. Everybody else was far far below that even on my bench the highest scorer was 11 points, but had I played them I still would have lost.

Come on if you are going to play the game, PLAY THE GAME. Why did you even get off the bench? To just smell the grass? If you are going to be in the game your job is to do your best, not wait for someone to inspire you, just to do it!

Looking forward to the next game I am going to switch my defense out for the Jets defense, Yeah I know, they are scheduled to be the best though out of everyone else I can pick, that would be the Rams and the Steelers Defense.

Also to those of you who are wondering, yes I did bring in WHEATON!

Although he is only projected to score 3 lousy points its better than the alternative man is Heath Miller.  Heath Miller is projected to do 2 stupid points. Will one point really make a difference? Yes it will. I know some of you are thinking yes but Miller is a TE how can you switch him with a WR?! If you are thinking that you are a nerd. Also it is my FLEX position. BOOM!

I am scheduled to win 81 to 78, and yeah I'm sure that is going to happen! A thought has just occurred to me. What if the other teams adjust their teams after I do. I could have been way off in all of my projections!  DANG! We will see how it goes, until then PEACE and God Bless ya!

Seriously!

Another loss for me. A loss after I was supposed to win! What happened out there? Did they all play like a bunch of losers or what? Did they trip over their skirts? The final score was 48 to 109. So much for wanting to win, the only way I can win now is if I win every single game and everyone who is winning suddenly starts to lose!

Aaron Rodgers was the only good player I had. He scored 25 points. The next highest scorer was Phil Dawson at 9 points. This is ridiculous how can that be? I listened to all the "Expert" advice and you know where it got me? Dead last. Maybe not dead last but if I am not winning, what is the point? Winning is everything...isn't it?

Of course Colin Kaepernick earned 28 points but I had him benched. Why did I do this? Because I am stupid and I doubted the 49ers. I should never do that! Stephen Gotkowski scored 16 points, but I didn't play him because Dawson was supposedly going to do better and he is a 49ers!

That's what I get for listening to people rather than researching for myself. Finally if I would have played Michael Floyd as a Wide Receiver I would have made 10 points. I have to mention that my rams scored -2! I didn't even know that was possible!

Maybe I am reaping what I have sown for all the smack talk I have done. Maybe I shouldn't focus so much on winning? No that can't be the problem! Onward to battle!

I am switching Rams out of course, for the Steelers. I will play Bernard Pierce instead of Carlos Hyde. I am putting back in Gotkowski and taking out Dawson. Sorry Dawson I know you are 49ers but you hurt me!

The last switch I will do will be to get rid of WHEATON!

Sorry but you are suggested to be the worst Wide Receiver in the world. I am putting in MICHAEL FLOYD. Don't let me down Mike, or I will throw you out the window into the abyss!

I am projected to win this next game AGAIN. We shall see what the future holds, until then spend time with your family.

Do I even Need to tell you

Yes its true its all true dang it! Another day another weekend more games played, all add up to a LOSS. How did you know? You must be prophetic to guess that. NOT. I lost but I don't think I lost that badly. I lost 70 to 81! A loss is still a loss though, but there is still time to change this ship around!

All of my players worked pretty hard, I mean the ones I have did. The ones on the bench didn't do that much better than the ones I played. Except for my Wide Receiver Michael Floyd. ZERO POINTS! C'mon Michael Floyd! That's IT! You are being traded out for Reuben Randle! HA! HA! See if you like that one Mr. Floyd!

WHEEAATON! You only scored 1 point! But I will keep you in because I have no better option! And yes I could trade him out but for who? Like I could get another great guy with the name WHEATON!

I guess I could take him out but replace him with Floyd? Yeah right! I would rather eat an Ice Cream Sandwich covered it maggots!

Phil Dawson as my kicker was GREAT! He is staying in! I don't care how good Gostkowski looks. Gostkowski is good and Phil Dawson is good. But I am going with the 49ers player, baby.

I moved out my steelers Defense because they are projected to suck up the place. I guess that shouldn't be too big of a surprise. In their place I am going to put in the Rams Defense, am I really doing that much better? Time will tell.

I only have one Tight End I discovered so I am looking to pick up another. I will see if the manager of the fantasy Team lets me. I bet he will because he is a swell guy like that.

I am projected to BEAT THE NEXT TEAM! 75 to 66 Woo Hoo! This is going to be great! I can't wait this will be the greatest week of football ever played. Just gotta keep my chin up, sing for the next day, and hope for the best, deal with the worst, and never give up hope!

Here we go again...

Another great loss for the Lone Rangers. We lost 106 to 66. Yeah that's bad, its so bad, its bad! The projection was a lot closer than that of course, but it didn't help that a lot of my players had their bye week. I tallied up points if I would have kept the right ones in, and left the wrong ones out. I still would have lost, maybe not as bad, but a loss is a loss! I AM A LOSER!

So what I am a loser. My birthday came and went I saw some of my wife's family last week. We had a mutual understanding as both of our teams were losing pretty badly. I guess that is one good thing to come out of this.

My next game I am set to lose again, of course. They say I am going to lose 89 to 101. Well maybe this game I will win. Maybe I will come back. It's only the fifth game of the year I can still come back and win the superbowl, This isn't over yet! I refuse to quit. I am still standing!

I took out Colin Kaepernick and put back in Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers had a better game than Kaepernick, and so he better have a better game again. You hear me Rodgers? Keep your lipstick and make up at home again and play some dang football!

I put back in the Steelers defense, no they are not great, but they are better than my other options of the Jets and the Rams, which is cheezy because when I began this entire thing, it said that the rams and Jets were supposed to have a good year. Well so much for that Bologna!

I put in the 49ers kicker, Phil Dawson, so the 49ers better have a good game or else. Well not much I could do about it if they don't I guess I'd just lose if they don't have a good game. Of course they could have a great game but if they never use the kicker much I'd still get a low score! DANG THIS THING!!!

Oh well. We are down but not out. The odds are against us. We are backed into a corner. We will keep moving forward. We will not stop we will not give up, we will prevail!

Won my first game!

OH YEAH! Won my first game! Bring out that fine lemonade and sip it while watching the sunset! Welcome to the winner's circle, we got A&B pizza! I won my first game and I plan on winning them all just yet YEAH YEAH! Go Ninja GO! or something like that.

My highest scoring player was Zac Stacy at 11 points, the team I played had a player that scored them 21 points, but I had the overall better team! Actually my team only scored a total of 63 points, but hey its enough to win, and winning is what matters, right?

The next team I am playing has a similar record to mine, and four of my players have a BYE week so I had to switch them out so I score above zero, and not suck up the place!

I switched out my running back Zac Stacy for Carlos Hyde from the SAN FRANCISCO FORTY NINERS!!! so that is a litlte exciting. Zac had the bye week so I had to switch him.

My Rams defense has a by week and I switched those to the Jets defense, they are set to have a good game I guess, according to the "Experts" we shall see the truth when it comes out.

I forgot what other switches I made specifically but I changed them so that my projected outcome would be higher than what it was previously.

I am projected to lose my next game but that has been the constant story. I AM THE UNDERDOG! Holy cow, this is a true underdog story. Alright well I don't care I am going to keep my head down and keep running!

The win doesn't always go to the fastest person or the strongest but to the one that NEVER GIVES UP!

Today is my bday and I am going to see some of my wife's relatives I wonder if they will have anything to say about this Fantasy League. This should be entertaining!

Second Game!

My second game ended in a tie!

I will take it! At least I am not dead last in the league anymore! Woo HOO!!! It helps when Aaron Rodgers doesn't stink up the place for a change!

I still have a chance in this thing, even if peoples points are further ahead then mine, and I am in second place in the entire league. I still have shot, you never know, I will not give up that easily! Nor should I ever.

My big hitters were Aaron Rodgers with 27 points! Stephen Gostkowski with 14 points, and Zac Stacy with 11 points! I think I will keep these guys in now that they are performing well and not stinking up the place congrats guys you get to keep your jobs!

Looking to game 3, I am scheduled to lose. That's encouraging isn't it? The game itself says, "Sorry but there is no hope to you." That's okay I AM THE UNDERDOG! You would think by now that theme is getting old, but it keeps popping up, You cant make this stuff up!

Also this is a rookie mistake but do you remember when I thought I switched out my players last week, huh just kidding! Turns out to actually switch the players you have to push a button that says, "Submit" great.

This time I did a real switch out I switched by TE's around. I switched Jordan Reed to Heath Miller. That makes a good difference but not good enough. I just have players on my team that like to suck up the place, or they play for a bad team. Always two great advantageous of having those players...right? WRONG.

I am planning on winning this game, I don't care what the outcome says.

How is this faring with my relationship with my wife's family? I think pretty good. I feel more connected to them. So far Fantasy Football does seem a good way to bond with people, even if you know ZERO about it.

The First Game

So I lost my first game big deal. Okay maybe it is a big deal. I lost, but I lost bad. Like 101 to 51. I did the worst out of the entire league. Maybe all of my boasting was a bad idea? Nonsense we can still come back! Besides the bigger question is, "Is fantasy football worth my time and energy?" I have for years thought it wasn't maybe this year will answer the question.


Aaron Rodgers my starting quarter back played only the first half of the game! Well he was physically in the second half but not mentally! These are the Seahawks you are playing not the Vikings. If you want to beat them you have to play, for real! Crying out loud, maybe I should trade him out for Colin from the 49ers? Well Aaron I will give you one more shot play that lousy again and you are OUT.


I did switch a couple players around. I switched by Running Back out. I changed from Andre Ellington to Bernard Pierce. According to the experts Bernard pierce will do slightly better I sure hope so. It also sounds like Andre may have some sort of injury, SUCK IT UP WIMP!


I switched out my tight end, from Jordan Reed to Heath Miller. I guess Jordan Reed is also hurt somehow? But I think he said he wasn't going to be a wuss and still man up and play. Sorry Jordan you didn't show up last time to win enough points, you are out and Miller is in.


Then I added Markus WHEATON as my flex. He did pretty good the last game, when I DIDN'T PLAY HIM! of course. so WHEATON! you better do a good job, or else its outski for you!

So fantasy football is tougher than I thought. It is still a lot of fun. I think anybody who plays can get enjoyment out of it. Maybe there is something deeper here though then just pleasure. I wonder how my wife's side of the family thinks of me after all my bragging?

The Draft

Well I went through the draft with my wife's family. It was a fun experience to have for the first time. I barely knew what I was doing but I feel confident that the Lone Rangers are going to win this year. A win would grant me a trophy they are making! Also a win would possibly mean more chances to play fantasy football with these awesome people.

I had seventh pick in the draft so not too bad, not first, and not dead last either. I didn't get Peyton Manning stated to be the best player of this season, but I don't know if that will be true I have my doubts. To pick my drafts I looked at what the NFL experts picked for their favorite players, and used the best I could pick from their picks. I was told this is a cheat sheet, but its all fair in love and war, right?

I drafted Aaron Rodgers as my starting Quarterback, and Colin Kaepernick as the backup quarterback. I like Aaron Rodgers and I feel he will do good, I know nothing about Colin which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. He is from the 49ers, and when in doubt always choose the 49ers...that's my motto.

I drafted the Rams for my defense, the Pittsburgh cheaters, and the Jets for my backup defenses if I need to switch Defense, ever. I am not a fan of any of these teams but according to the experts these teams are supposed to be pretty good, they better be or bye bye trophy!

My running backs are Zac Stacy, and Andre Ellington. They were good for what was left. I honestly do not expect much from these two, and these are probably where the hole is in my entire TEAM! I overlooked the running backs while we were drafting so I got in a little late.

I have no idea what a WR is so I googled it. It means wide receiver, these guys can make points I would think. Pass plays are always done and win games! I did not realize that when I was doing the draft otherwise maybe I would have cared more. I did try though and I came up with Roddy White, and Michael Floyd. My backups are Markus WHEATON!!!

and Reuben Randle. My understanding is that none of these guys are winners.

Jordan Reed is my Tight End, and I guess he is pretty good, I have no idea who he is though. My backup tight end is Heath Miller. I have no idea what the tight end does, so I hope he does something good, because I think Reed was a decent pick. He better make me points.

My flex is Bernard Pierce and he is a running back. He should be okay.

I picked a kicker pretty early on in the draft because I remember the games where it always came down to the kicker scoring for the WIN. So I was able to draft two good kickers Stephen Gostkowski, and Phil Dawson for the backup kicker. Phil is another 49ers player! Woot Woot! Otherwise I know nothing about them, but they are supposedly the best, we shall see.

I have my first game against a team that looks pretty good. According to the experts at ESPN, they don't think my team will win. Well that's fine, like I said before I am the underdog! This will be our first game where we overcome the odds, and we will not stop until that trophy comes home with The Lone Rangers!

Starting off the league

My name is Michael Erickson and I know nothing about Fantasy football. I hardly ever watch football, but I plan on winning my first year in fantasy football.

       
I know a little about football, enough to talk about it with other men, and sound like a real man. I only watch the Superbowl for the commercials, if the commercials stink, then it was a bad Superbowl, in my opinion.
       
I don't even have a favorite team, well I do sort of. My sort of favorite team is the 49ers. The only reason they are is because they used to be my brother's favorite team. When he passed away I became a fan as an homage in remembrance of how great he is, not how great his team is. If I were to say I like 49ers you would tell me how bad they are, but I'd remember the golden years. The years my brother would bet on the 49ers and they would make him money. When they had Joe Montana and Jerry Rice, the best combination you could get for quarterback and receiver.
   
For years people have asked me to join their leagues in my church, I have always turned them down. Because I could care less about watching football quite honestly and I never thought I would have a chance at winning against theses experts. The guys I would have been up against had a radio show about football and fantasy football picks. I didn't stand a chance.
     

The reason this time it will be different is because I am against my wife's side of the family. They are far away and this is a way to keep in touch with them. I don't know how much they know about football, it is guaranteed to be more than how much I know. I don't care, I want to win, and I will win.
     
Why do I stand a chance? I stand a chance because I am the underdog, like in the story of Rocky I will come out on top. Remember the other teams in the NFL that barely make the playoff's then win the Superbowl? I will kind of be like that in some way.

I have already named my team, "The Lone Rangers" and have a picture of the logo ready to go.

The actual draft is September 3rd, I don't have any idea who I will pick, but it should be interesting, to say the least.
